While "downtown" is a bit of an extreme term for the main area of Blackspring, it is what the locals call it. With cute little split-level houses and a few shops, Blackspring's downtown is generally what people think of when Blackspring is mentioned.

Farm houses with rolling acres of land cover most of Blackspring's land. The main producers of food in Loros, many of them also have a fair deal of money, and many of these farmers have contracts with the Empire in order to feed their troops.

A sectioned off area between a few of the farms, Blackspring "fields" are more of a clearing, often used by cadets and new soldiers for training. It's not uncommon for those who plan on enlisting to watch and train with them either.

The springs Blackspring was named after are clear and refreshing, often attached to Blackspring's farm's irrigation systems. Regardless, anyone visiting the springs themselves can still drink the fresh water. The banks are covered in black sand, giving the springs a rather unique, often dreary look, clashing against the brilliant green scenery.
