NHWAF is an AU Marauders site, based on what Albus Dumbledore once said: That he sometimes thought the sorting ceremony should take place later on in Hogwarts. Once he took over the school as Headmaster, he put this thought to action, and ever since 1960, students have been sorted at the end of their second year, rather than the beginning of their first. The possibility of the whole of their futures changing with the potential of a change in their sorting is a very real one, and one that will give shape to a fascinating, new wizarding world.
