LIKESHIPS Well, for starters, Balt doesn’t want to be your friend if you aren’t someone important. If you aren’t at least a captain you can get right out of his face. He worked hard to get out of poverty and into the position he’s in now, and he doesn’t want to lower himself back to that level again. If you’re someone important, though, he’ll be pleasant as hell to you. Unless you piss him off. Which is easy. Yeah, idk. Talk to me lol. HATESHIPS So, Balt is a violent piece of trash. It’s easy to get on his bad side, and it’s easy for him to get on other people’s bad sides. Like even though he tries to be nice to the people who matter, he still fucks up when he gets mad. Not to mention he was right there when Lady Ariane died and when her son died so…. yeah… he crazy af, though, be careful. LOVESHIPS Balt is literally incapable of falling in love with you. The closest thing he has to love is with Remy and you just wait until you see that. That being said, if you’re a higher rank than him he might try to romance you so he can kill you and take your things. He is also a noble who is unmarried with no children, so throw your daughters at him so he can fuck their worlds up, tbh. |

rufus && balthazar really iffy on this guy. rufus is a guy who's pretty good at judging people and he'd be pretty wary of balt. something about him just ain't right, but he would be respectful. and rufus is a guy who gets pissed off easily as well, but like not even ten minutes later after he's been threatening you he'll be like 'yo bro, wassup?' and like completely disregard what he got pissed over. but if you betray his trust, he'll put you on his trash list and burn your corpse later. so i can see the two get into a piss match and then rufus just forgets all about what the piss match was and smooths things over with balt. nobles gotta stick together. it's important. Okay firstly I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you! Normally it wouldn't take as long, but I started a new job recently and I'm still adjusting <3
Now then, For Roofy and Balty~
Rufus is a noble, which means from the beginning Balthazar would want to be on his good side. As you mentioned, however, they both have tempers. Rufus could do something small to set Balt off, or even vice versa. The biggest thing here, though, is that Balt doesn't really have pissing matches haha. He'd be much more likely to lose his shit and seriously injure or try to anyway Rufus.
All that being said, if Rufus could get over Balt going batshit, Balt would at least pretend that everything was okay thereafter. He would never actually forgive him, but he's a good pretender lmao.
