[PTab=BIOGRAPHY]
BUT NOW I'VE SEEN THE PAY-OFFS EVERYWHERE I LOOK
History
Lady Alice Beau was never the favorite of her family. No, that position belonged to her older brother, Arel. During her earliest years, the youngest of the Beau line was a terribly sickly little thing. The Beaus prided themselves on the appearance of their House, always claiming that the only city that could beat Newhaven was the capital city itself. And if one of the family line looked weak, then the whole family looked weak. No mercy was given to Alice in this regard, even if she was but a small child. Instead, all of her parents' favor was cast upon Arel as the favorite of the siblings. He was a strong, healthy child. He would be able to make up for Alice's weakness. The early shunning of Alice for her brother would go on for most of her childhood, developing the seeds of a burning jealousy and hate.
As Alice grew older and neared her teenage years, she finally managed to shake off the illnesses that had plagued her so far in her life. From then on, her parents began to gaze in Alice's direction again, suddenly acting as if she mattered once more. The young girl was sent off to studies one after another, early training for becoming a nice little good girl of a nobless who shut up and stayed out of the way of her obviously superior older brother. And she never cared for any single one of the studies that her parents forced her to embrace. All, that is, except for one. When she began to learn of history, there was something that caught her attention. The bloody genocides, revolutions, and warfare of the past. Violence enthralled Alice's attention. Perhaps that's why she took a shine to watching the military of Newhaven as the trained and patrolled.
It was in her mid teenage years when she would catch sight of a particularly interesting soldier in the military of her home. Liliana was her name, a sickly, but determined girl who looked like she would sooner die standing on her feet than in a bed. It was admirable, inspiring in a fashion. But for Alice, it was also enthralling. She wanted to know more about the girl and soon enough, managed to get some of the guards stationed around her family's home to tell her more of the sickly soldier. No matter how strenuous the drills or difficult the several mile runs were, the girl would never quit in any of them. It reminded Alice of how sickly she had been, the actions showed her the strength that someone who had always been like that could potentially have. And the young Beau girl felt the wind being stolen from her lungs. When the girl had been promoted to Captain after all of her extremely hard work, it was Alice that performed the honors of bestowing upon her a gift, more specifically, a Mawile. One that Alice had obtained from her parents as a "pet". She did not know why she did it, but it had been done.
Eventually both of the Beau siblings were shipped off to Southwall for proper training on becoming a Noble in the Empire. And right after the ever so beloved eldest child had returned, he was given the throne. Just like that. There was much fanfare and celebration for the Lord of Newhaven. And yet, when Alice returned, she was met with little fanfare to none at all, only hollow congratulations and false affection. Her brother had received a Deino when he returned form Southwall and so to did Alice, but to her the "gift" was practically meaningless. What truly killed her was not the actions of her family though, but the actions of another. In the long time that Alice had been gone from home, the soldier that she had admired, that she had become enthralled by... Was only looking at Arel. It was like a knife had been driven through her back and then through what remained of a small and fragile heart that had long had itself crushed by the weight of her own family. Arel had everything in this world, everything that Alice had ever wanted. And he looked at it all with disinterest. Even her, the one that no longer looked Alice's way.
What came next is hard to say. Within a few months, both the former Lord & Lady of Newhaven were found mysteriously dead one day. None knew what had happened, none save one. Their deaths were chalked up to heart attacks after a time and in the end, it was just the siblings left as the last of the Beau line. A couple years passed by and everything grew quiet. Arel's shadow grew longer and hanged ever over Alice. She hated it. She hated him. Eventually the peace would break, however. Protestors grew ever louder in the last few months and eventually it all culminated in a violent and bloody outcome that would herald a change for Alice. Arel disappeared, last seen amongst the chaos and presumed dead. She began to take command.
The cunning nobless finally had her chance to shine. She finally had a chance to cast off her hated sibling's shadow forever. A Hydreigon appeared in the midst of a particularly violent group of rioters and with each of it's three heads, it took bites out of the unfortunate souls. Soon on the scene was Alice Beau and members of the Militia. Everywhere she went was heralded by the bloody onslaught of her Hydreigon tearing through flesh and the city becoming painted in the red. The riots quieted down, the dust began to settle. But she knew it was not over yet. Occasionally there would be more outspoken and unruly scum. Eventually reinforcements arrived to help deal with the unruly citizenry, headed by none other than Liliana Bellamy herself. Where one individual finally left her life for good, another reappeared. And with her came a sudden halt to the riots after a week of brutality. Still, there were issues and it would take weeks more to fully get the city of Newhaven under control once again and Lily herself had been called away with Alice taking the reigns once again. After all was said and done, a stunning announcement came down from on high, the Imperial Throne of Loros had declared Liliana Maybell to be a newly entitled Counselor to the Emperor.
Now that everything had grown quiet, or as tenuous as it now got, it came time to question the lack of an occupied throne in Newhaven. Alice was quick to lobby herself and to her surprise, there was also the very strong support of Counselor Lily. And in all honesty, she could only wonder... why? Perhaps it was a tip of the metaphorical hat to the Beau family's lineage. Or worse in her mind, maybe she looked at Alice as simply a convenient replacement for Arel. Regardless, Alice was soon undeniably declared the Lady of Newhaven. She quickly began to go to work, strongly enforcing the new state of martial law that had developed from the riots. She reveled in the chaos, in watching people bleed upon the streets. The youngest and last of the Beau line wanted to prove herself, to prove that the shadow should have always been the other way around, to prove that she deserved this throne, not Arel. But most of all... She wanted Lily to look at her again. That beautiful monster who had always held whatever sufficed for a heart that had been torn from Alice's chest.
Alice has used the opportunity to weave a tangled web beneath the surface of Newhaven, acquiring the services and loyalties of many criminals in order to do her dirty work for her, as well as frame up Spectre in a worse light to the public. She also uses them to get rid of detractors from her ranks, pinning the blame upon Spectre all the same before eventually using some of the lesser crooks as sacrifices in her scheme. They are proclaimed affiliates of Spectre with false evidence marked up in support of the accusations. With routine bloody executions performed by both Alice and the occasional one performed by Liliana, Newhaven withers from within at the hands of the bloody minded pair.
Pokemon
Name Genocide
Species Hydreigon
Gender Female
Ability Levitate
Moveset Draco Meteor | Dark Pulse | Tri Attack | U-Turn
Origin A "gift" from her mother after returning from Southwall.
Personality A brute of a Pokemon that compliments it's owner well. Raised by Alice to be bloodthirsty and brutal, the Hydreigon is a weapon of violence. Aggressive and temperamental, she has a very thin patience and will charge into any fight it sees. Aside from the violent side however, she is actually a very quiet and loyal Pokemon that remains ever at the side of Alice Beau.
Name Crescent
Species Absol
Gender Male
Ability Super Luck
Moveset Swords Dance | Stone Edge | Shadow Claw | Pursuit
Origin Customary graduation Pokemon from the Southwall Academy.
Personality Crescent shies away from interaction with Humans, for the most part. While perfectly capable of defending itself, the Absol species' legacy of "bad luck" has caused it to grow weary of Humans that immediately sought to drove him off otherwise. In this regard, Crescent is rather skittish, but he has begun to overcome it as Alice likes to use him to fight.
Name Arson
Species Flareon
Gender Female
Ability Flash Fire
Moveset Flare Blitz | Superpower | Flame Charge | Lava Plume
Origin Received as a "token of esteem" from the Imperial Throne for her role in putting down the Newhaven Riots.
Personality If there's one thing that's true about this particular Flareon, it's the way that she lives up to the name that Alice gave her. Arson loves to burn things. Whether it's from an innate desire or simple boredom, the Flareon is just about as likely to set something on fire as it is to just walk by it. Due to this habit, she has a rather mischievous personality and loves to cause trouble.
Name Murder
Species Weavile
Gender Male
Ability Pressure
Moveset Icicle Crash | Poison Jab | Crush Claw | Night Slash
Origin Taken from a crime boss after killing him herself and taking over the criminal group.
Personality Murder is a cunning and arrogant specimen of a Weavile. Constantly grinning and putting off a cocky air about him, Murder will do anything to win a fight. He is not beyond using any dirty tricks and will do his best to throw the opponent off of their game. The Weavile is also quiet intelligent and will also use the environment of the surrounding area to his advantage as well.
