The Delacroix family does not exist. Or at least, it does not exist on paper. To the Imperial Throne of Loros however, the Delacroix family is very real and are steadfastly loyal servants to the Emperor. Trained from birth to act as assassins for the Emperor's enemies within the Empire, they exist in the darkest shadows of Loros as a well kept secret. In this, you could say that while Athena Delacroix now walks about in the light of day, she was born in the shadows of night. Both her father and mother served as these shadowy life takers for the Emperor's will and it was only natural that Athena too would take on the role. Training day and night since she was little, the girl would eventually reach the age of maturity and be considered "ready" for whatever the Emperor willed her to do as his hidden blade.

It was upon completion of her training that Athena would acquire her Weezing, Monoxide. The first few missions she was dispatched on, Athena would have her Pokemon flood the building with a Smokescreen before moving in with a gas mask on. She would then either gun down her target or more often than not, stab them quite liberally with her assorted collection of knives. The girl became a star in her parents' eyes, living up to the family name with pride. Eventually, she was called upon for a particularly difficult mission that would seal her fate in either death or as the prodigy her parents seemed to think of her as. To wit, she would need to assassinate a military unit gone rogue. Captain Charlie and his men had decided to turn their backs upon the Empire and tried to spark rebellion. The effort failed, but the mere presumption was enough to catch the attention of the Crown.

In the dead of night, not a single person see anyone enter into the keep that Captain Charlie and his men had taken for themselves. And upon the break of dawn, no one saw anyone leave. Intrigued by the oddity, a brave (or perhaps foolish) soul decided to take a look. And there he found the whole unit deceased with their throats slit open in their beds. No one knew who was responsible for the shocking turn, save the Crown itself. Athena was congratulated for her dutiful work and the skill with which she pulled off the slaughter. Rewarded with a Zorua for her service, the Pokemon would grow to be an integral part of later strategies that Athena would use.

However, she was not meant to serve the Empire of Loros forever. She never would find out the exact details of events, but her mother and father both never returned from a failed mission on behalf of the Emperor. Finally, the silent Athena was free to truly make decisions of her own. With her parents' demise, she recalled the many things she had seen in her years of silence and hiding, blending in with the crowds. The discontent and suffocation, the lack of life in a great deal of areas. And she saw how the Emperor simply sat upon his throne with the occasional grandiose display of opulence and extravagance. It sickened her. Such a lazy, worthless man in charge of an Empire that simply sat back and let it rot from the inside out. Her pride would not allow her to continue serving this man and further still, it demanded a bit of vengeance. Her parents had given their lives for a worthless waste of a leader, a senseless sacrifice.

As was her way, she never said a word to the Crown before disappearing and in due course, the final Delacroix was declared a rogue agent. She has since decided to join up with the Spectre organization, seeking to use it's growing influence as a means of vengeance to strike down the Emperor and reform society. At this point, Athena Delacroix would rather be remembered as the Pawn that struck down the King rather than as a lapdog of a wasteful ruler.

Personality Monoxide is a loyal partner to the shadow-y Athena Delacroix. He is affectionate towards the Human girl and is of a very jolly disposition, providing quite the contrast to Athena's usual stoic presence.

Origin Athena obtained Kumiho as a Zorua through service to the Imperial Throne after the assassination of Captain Charlie and his defectors.
Personality A crafty and extremely intelligent specimen of a Zoroark, Kumiho has been taught the tricks of her mistress. Arguably as skilled in the art of murder as Athena Delacroix herself, Kumiho uses many strategies in combat to proceed to an undeniable victory. It will often even help Athena by taking on disguises with it's unique ability of crafting Illusions, gaining entry to places and helping set up the targets for her mistress.
