Born into a family of wealth and comfort, Jasper wasn’t exposed to the harsh reality of the monarchy that oppressed the region’s citizens. At a young age, the boy lost his parents when they decided to leave the lives of nobles. In return of allowing them to leave a high maintenance life, Jasper’s grandmother demanded that the boy be left in their stead to take her place when she ages. The offer was accepted and that was the last he saw or heard of them.

His grandmother, a well-respected aristocrat, taught him how to deal in the adult world. Although he disliked her for her stern and uptight attitude, he was glad to have a roof over his head. Even if it meant dealing with a strict upbringing. Besides the materialistic benefits of living with her, he also gained a companion; Lizzy, a gentle Espurr. She was a coming of age gift.

He passed by the years in a routine until around his thirteenth birthday, when his caregiver became ill. After days of doctors rotating through the door and messengers bombarding the dining room with generic gifts from socialites, she finally gave in and passed away that night.

With no living relatives, it was decided that the only option would be to send him to a boarding school until he fully matures which would allow him to inherit all of his grandmother’s assets.

Being sent to an institution for five years and being locked up was an unfathomable lifestyle that Jasper refused to live in, resulting in him running away with Lizzy, a knapsack and the clothes on his back.

Origin Lizzy was given to him as a present for his seventh birthday. His grandmother thought it would be a good time to introduce him to the world of the privileged and so, she brought him to a well-respected breeder in the town. Expecting him to pick one of the more popular pokemon, she was surprised when he instead stubbornly chose a small Espurr, obviously the smallest one present. The small ball of fluff grew on him fast.
Personality Lizzy’s a gentle soul who sometimes lets her curiosity get the better of her which then leads her into all kinds of situations that Japser has to get her out of. Her shy streak means she’s often clinging to his pant leg for some kind of reassurance when she’s not off wandering absentmindedly when his back is turned. Not much of a heads on fighter, she prefers to avoid conflict altogether but is capable of mustering up enough courage to defend her friend if needs be.
