Alistair has had a very peaceful early childhood. He grew up in a high class, military household with three siblings. The family was very family oriented and the children were forced to love one another despite their differences. Over time, loving each other despite their differences became something of the past when Alistair expressed his sexuality. This placed more of a strain on Alastair's relationship with his father. Despite this, his relationship with his siblings is still rather strong.

Growing up, Ali would find himself rather bored with his academic work and could not stand going to school. Starting off with some of the higher grades, Alistair would eventually come to make less satisfying grades by doing minimum work to get by. As his interest for academics begin to no longer exist, his passion and interest in combat began to increase. Just as he approached middle ages, around 14-15, Ali began to take fencing lessons and participate in matches and tournaments. 

As he remained passionate about fencing, he happened to become even more interested in something more lively and real. He needed to experience something more challenging. Maybe actual militia training like his father and mother went through? Accepting of his decision, Alistair's father would have him enroll in the empire as a cadet at sixteen and begin his training in Valege. Later on, he furthered his training at Southwall.

During many missions, Alistair became known for his elegant, well coordinated battle strategies. He was as happy as could be, for he had finally found true excitement in his life. When he graduated and received his actual first pokemon to start taking on missions as an official soldier around eighteen.

Time would soon pass and his earlier days as part of the military would fly by. Before he knew it, Alistair was a well known soldier for the EMPIRE. But he wouldn't stop there. He kept doing an exceptional job like he did throughout his training and eventually he became promoted once again to captain rank right after he turned twenty.

Personality Sazh is very cautious and nurturing. He cares very deeply for Alistair as he's been around the longest. He knows him extremely well and tends to be a bit over protective of him. He sees Balthier as a rival and Auron as a younger sibling. Sazh is a bit timid at times, but is quick to throw himself on the line to protect Alistair and the team.

Personality Balthier is extremely relaxed and ready for combat at all times. He's very alert and stays active. He has the utmost respect Alistair but doesn't care for other humans. He is very stubborn and is best friends with Auron & Sazh but shares more of a rivalry with Sazh & looks at Auron as a younger sibling as well. He probably knows Alistair just as well as Sazh but isn't as overly protective of him like Sazh.

Personality Having been around the shortest amount of time, Auron knows Alistair the least, but still extremely well. He is very friendly toward everyone, including strangers, unless their an opponent. Auron is extremely hyperactive and enjoys any form of physical activity. He sees Alistair as his father while Balthier and Sazh are older siblings.
