When she was born, she was greeted by glameow fluff and flower petals; she was born to a soldier and a florist, after all. All three were Blackspring natives. The father was a low ranking soldier while the mother grew both medicinal and decorative blossoms. Cynthia was their one and only child.

She was the one and only because there was simply not enough time to have another. For, when Cynthia turned four, her mother died. The woman had joined a desperate group, attempting to leave Loros. The woman's reasons for trying to escape died with her. It hurt Cynthia's father and he took to drinking to ease the pain of having a traitorous wife. It had brought much dishonor upon the family by having one of their own executed.

From then on, Cynthia was ostracized by her peers. She didn't know why her mother died, but the parents of her peers did, so she was forbidden from playing with them.

However, a few neighbors had pity on the girl (it wasn't her fault her mother was a traitor), and when they realized she wasn't being fed right due to her father being a drunkard and a soldier--probably not the safest combination--they began teaching her how to fend for herself, particularly how to cook. Slowly but surely the child became capable of going most things on her own.

At age eight, her obsession with cat pokemon intensified. She'd always liked her father's glameow, but after he gave her a shiny meowth costume for Halloween, it turned into something else. She kept the costume until it completely fell apart and after that started collecting all the cat themed things she could.

By age ten, Cynthia was essentially running the house by herself. While her father was the bread winner and did all of the things that Cynthia simply wasn't legally allowed to do, she did all of the grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, and day-to-day maintenance of the house. Due to this, her father never pressured her to join the military, only suggesting she find another career.

By the time she turned twelve, Cynthia had given up on trying to make friends and focused on her education. Biology fascinated her; when she wasn't studying how bodies worked or occasionally looking into the flowers her mother loved, she also developed other interests. She discovered old schools of thought by ancient anarchists and fell in love with the political philosophy.

Two years later, at age fourteen, she joins a forum that teaches people how to disappear online. Coincidentally, she also joins a furry forum. The furry forum covers her otherwise completely hidden online activity... it also entertains her.

Becoming more interested in conspiracy theories and the true nature of Loros, she stumbled across the real reason her mother was killed. No one got into or out of Loros. No one. And, with that, Cynthia began to become even more bitter.

Entering medical school at age eighteen, Cynthia decided she'd get to know everything she could about the human body as well as some about pokemon. Besides, the money would be good eventually and she'd be able to keep a cover for her online activity. Nurses were either very busy or very tired.

During her time at college, she frequents a forum that future Spectre members go to. The site was dedicated to sharing grievances about Loros and corruptions within the government.

Upon graduation, Cynthia was twenty-two and had excellent grades. She got a job at the local hospital in Blackspring. She also decided that she would one day move to Sinnoh and own lots of cat pokemon.

At twenty-three, Cynthia's father is killed in the Newhaven riots. The girl is given the old family home.

The days, when she's not working, she rules a hollow social media account to inform the public of what the empire does and to help spread information on how to properly rebel.
